What is a solution?

When we ask what is a solution we are presented with the following answer.

Solutions are defined as the act of dealing with a problem in such a way that the difficulty is removed.

Not only do we use the word solution to describe an answer to a problem, but we also use it to describe a collection of components that together solve a wider problem. Solutions can involve software to facilitate business processes, it can be used to automate common tasks, and it can save a lot of time when entering and searching for information.

We use solutions every day to store contacts, message friends, and find answers. The use of software to solve problems has grown immensely and is only set to expand even further.
