What is a problem?

When we ask what is a problem we are presented with the following answer.

A problem can be defined as a situation that is unsatisfactory and causes difficulties for people. The word unsatisfactory explains that something is not meeting a standard that we expect and implies something must be done to change the behvaiour to be more favourable.

Problems are a useful indicator to lead us to new ways of seeing a situation or issue. Problems are a good thing because they reveal opportunities to see situations in a different light.
