The importance of maintaining quality in your projects

The Building Safety Act (BSA) requires compliance with Building Regulations in both design and construction. The government stipulates that any project requiring a new Building Regulations application requires two ‘principal duty holders’ to be appointed: a Principal Designer; and a Principal Contractor. Both roles must possess the relevant skills, knowledge, and experience to lead the planning, managing, monitoring, and coordinating of health and safety of a project. The principal designer handles the design and planning stage; and the principal contractor plays an important role in influencing how the risks to health and safety are managed during construction work.

Moment can be configured with project templates that contain activities aligned to the RIBA Plan of Work so that all your projects follow the same stages and milestones. You can even gather documents and prepare proposals for stage 0 so you have a record of what has been agreed before a project is awarded to your practice.
